"If you light a lamp for someone else, it will also brighten your path"
- BuddhaRooted in Dharma · Serving All Beings
Light of Compassion was founded with the belief that Buddhist wisdom, when lived with sincerity, has the power to heal and transform.
We are rooted in the teachings of the Buddha while opening our doors to all who seek meaning, belonging, and support. Our mission is to promote Buddhist teachings, advance education, support youth mental wellness, provide senior programs, and organize cultural community events.
Whether you come seeking stillness, knowledge, connection, or simply a helping hand — our prayer is that you leave carrying a little more light than when you arrived.
From teachings on the Dharma to immersive meditation retreats, find the practice that calls to you on the path to enlightenment.

Bringing Light to Our Elders
Yangten Rinpoche will offer a gentle and uplifting talk to residents at Mon Sheong, talking about how to maintain emotional well-being and inner peace in later life, how families can relate to and support their aging parents with greater understanding and compassion, and how we might approach illness, aging, and end-of-life care with dignity, courage, and grace.
